In the beginning, I thought it was wonderful that we would be able to have an amount deducted from our bonus check. It was a way of being able to reach out to others that came very naturally and that we didn't even feel it because the money was put aside before we ever received it. Then, when Shaklee Cares introduced the concept of Disaster Recovery Packs, it helped us feel even more connected to the process because this was an additional way we could actually place a tangible contribution of products into someone's hands - make a donation to someone in great need - and also receive UV and PV credit! It has become a way...to give directly to those who are hurting. More importantly, it gives us the opportunity to contribute as a small business in a way that would normally be possible only for big businesses. Shaklee Cares mirrors what Shaklee Corporation is really all about - enhancing the quality of life and well-being of people. Shaklee Cares exists because people care. We're very proud to be part of it!
