For more than a decade, Shaklee Cares has responded swiftly to a long list of devastating disasters. With contributions that range from food products and cleaning supplies to cash contributions and volunteering time. Shaklee formed a partnership with Habitat for Humanity International's Disaster Division® in 2002.

Since its inception, Shaklee Cares has given over 1.7 million in cash and product to individual families and communities. Shaklee Corporation underwrites all administrative costs to Shaklee Cares, so 100% of your donation goes to help rebuild lives, homes and communities.

This is what Shaklee Cares is about - providing help. When disaster strikes, it can leave people with nothing. But the efforts of you, the Shaklee Cares team, mean these people are not without hope.

For example, when the recent flooding this past summer in Texas forced thousands of people to flee their homes, they were left with nothing. Your continuous donation of Disaster Recovery Packs brought 17,500 pounds of products, worth over $100,000, to these people and helped them begin the journey of recovery from their devastating losses. This past summer, 5,200 indivisuals and families received Shaklee Cares product packs as a result of damage suffered with the summer's fires and floods.

This past year Shaklee Cares began a partnership with another organization dedicated to bringing help and hope to people: Habitat for Humanity International, the organization supported by former President Jimmy Carter that helps build affordable homes with people in need. Through our alliance with Habitat for Humanity, Shaklee Cares has provided shelter for two families by helping to build homes in Oklahoma and Ohio.

As we move forward, we must continue to keep the Shaklee Cares mission before us. Our collaboration with Habitat for Humanity International will help us meet our goal of providing support to those in need, but remember, the most important Shaklee Cares partner is you.
