    Help distribute Disaster Recovery Packages!
S T E P. 1
Contact a local relief agency such as the Feed The Children or Salvation Army   to see what their trained personnel have determined.
Choose an organization that needs and welcomes volunteers and is willing to work with you in setting up your program and in distributing selected products. Often times a local church is another excellent resource for coordinating information.
Establish programs where the products are most needed and can best be used and distributed.

S T E P. 2
When you have identified a local agency, organize members of your group to assist in the effort.

Contact Shaklee Cares at 925-924-2003, email shakleecares@shaklee.com with your request. A representative will then relay this information to the Shaklee Cares Advisory Committee members and if the action is approved, our Groveport, Ohio destination facility will assemble the order in bulk and ship it immediately for you to assemble in "packs" for those in need.
You will also receive a Shaklee Cares Team Leader Handbook containing information regarding relief efforts. Applications for funding will be included. You can also download the application.

When the shipment arrives, you and your local team of volunteers will help unload the truck and configure the various cases of product into the Disaster Recovery Package configuration.

•  Remember the ongoing importance of support literature, sales aids, and your availability to answer questions and provide information on how to use the products.

•  Leave your card in the packages if someone needs some more information. Included in the Team Leader Handbook is a flyer explaining the nature of the products in the Relief Pack.

•  Rebuilding is not a short-term project. Utilize additional volunteers and plan for an extended time of participation in order to best understand ongoing community needs and to build relationships.

•  Remember that the standards you set will be the model when relief and rebuilding programs are replaced with "business as usual". Be aware of your professionalism and your role as a representative of the Shaklee philosophy.
